Parva (پروا) is a heartfelt Iranian social drama and family film written and directed by Mehran Mahdovian, released in 2018. The film carries an added layer of poignancy as its lead actor, Hossam Mahmoudi, had passed away by the time the film reached audiences — making every frame a quiet tribute to his talent. Mahdovian, known for his earlier art-house work Eczema, brings a sensitive and grounded storytelling style to this intimate family story. Parva premiered internationally at the 11th Lleida Film Festival and is now available to stream in full on Top Local Videos.
