Gharib (The Stranger) is an Iranian Holy Defense drama directed by Mohammad Hossein Latifi, produced by Oj Cinema Organization and screenwriter-producer Hamed Angha. Based on Nosrat Mahmoudzadeh's book 'Mohammad; Messiah of Kurdistan,' the film revisits the life and command of Martyr Mohammad Boroujerdi during the war years in Iran's western region. Babak Hamidian returns to portray Boroujerdi, following his earlier turn in the acclaimed series Aghazadeh, in a role that once again places him inside the story of a national martyr.
