Ablagh (2019) is an Iranian social drama directed by acclaimed filmmaker Narges Abiyar, known for The Night the Moon Completed, Nafas and Shiar 143. The film stars Bahram Radan, Elnaz Shakerdoost, Hootan Shakiba, Mehran Ahmadi, Golareh Abbasi, Giti Moini, Shadi Karamroudi and Amin Miri, with a screenplay co-written by Abiyar and Parisa Karzian. Produced by Mohammad Hossein Ghasemi, Ablagh premiered at the 39th Fajr Film Festival, where it earned six nominations and won Crystal Simorgh awards for Best Supporting Actress, Best Makeup, Best Visual Effects and Best Film (Audience Choice).
