S01E09 · Shah Gol Episode 9 – Mehran Modiri’s Gol Ya Pooch Game Show

Shah Gol Part 9 is an Iranian reality competition and game show hosted by the popular actor and comedian Mehran Modiri. Produced for Filmnet and designed by Modiri with director Nik Yousefi, it is built around the traditional Iranian game Gol Ya Pooch, a game of deception, observation, strategy and intuition.

Experienced male and female players face off in tense rounds, hiding the flower, guessing where it is and trying to outsmart their opponents. With no script, the suspense comes from real competition and the personalities of the contestants, while Modiri’s humor keeps the mood lively.
