After a pack of wolves storms into the village and slaughters the villagers' cows and sheep, life in Nooruddin takes a fresh turn for the worse. The Big Ten set out to restore order by hunting down the wolves, but their attempts keep collapsing for one reason or another, forcing them to bring in one of the country's top hunters against his will. As the old rivalry between the two villages resurfaces, the people of Nooruddin keep fighting to break free of economic and demographic stagnation and to close the gap left by the Big Ten's failures, sparking a fresh string of small and big misadventures.
